Day 1: Paris
Welcome to France! Upon arrival at Paris Airport collect your luggage, clear customs and make your way to your centrally located hotel. The remainder of the day is free to relax or start exploring the French Capital on your own. An optional airport transfer is available.
Day 2: Paris City & Gourmet Lunch
This morning we invite you on a stunning small-group sightseeing tour of Paris in deluxe air-conditioned minibus including all the major sites with stops for photos*. You will discover the village of Montmartre*. You will go to the centre of Paris: Opéra, Vendôme, Concorde Squares, Rivoli street, the Champs Elysees, the Arch of Triumph before reaching the Eiffel Tower and the Seine river where the most important monuments are located: Grand Palais, Louvre and its glass pyramid, the islands of la Cité and St Louis, Notre Dame Cathedral*. You will cross the left bank and the Latin quarter with the Pantheon, the Luxembourg Gardens, the Invalides and the famous bridges: Pont de l’Alma, Pont Neuf, Alexandre III. All along this tour, our professional guide will tell you about the 2000 year history of Paris. Stops at Montmartre, Eiffel Tower & Notre Dame Cathedral. Follow this wonderful tour with a 3-course gourmet lunch with wine at the traditional Les Noces de Jeanette Restaurant located next to the Opera square. The tour ends at the restaurant and the afternoon is free to continue exploring Paris on your own. (B.L)
Day 3: Reims & Champagne Country
Breakfast at your hotel. Today enjoy an amazing full-day small-group tour combining the art of producing Champagne in the Epernay region and the historical heritage of France in Reims. You will be picked up at your hotel around 7:00 am and will reach the Champagne region in less than 2 hours. The tour includes two visits of champagne cellars and a lunch. Reims is just a few miles far from Epernay. City of art, history & 3 UNESCO World Heritage sites, Reims is an impressive city with its cathedral built in the 13th century where all the French kings have been crowned. is an impressive city with its cathedral built in the 13th century where all the French kings have been crowned. This is a unique gothic style. You will see the outskirts of the Palace of Tau and if time allows you will also visit the St Remi Basilica dating from the 12th century. You will then rally Epernay crossing the unique landscape of “la Montagne de Reims”.The road is surrounded by vineyards during 20 miles making the countryside unique. Epernay is a typical French country side charming city, home of all the famous champagne estates. LVMH – Moet & Chandon is our preferred partner and worldwide known as one of the best champagne producers. You will visit one of its properties Mercier founded in 1858. You will be accompanied inside the cellars where you will board a laser-guided train to visit the 10 miles cellars before enjoying a tasting of a “Mercier Cuvee” ( Mercier can be replaced by the famous Mumm Champagne cellar or equivalent). You will have lunch at a typical local restaurant (3-course menu, drinks not included). You will continue to the most remarkable house: Moet & Chandon (founded in 1743) an exceptional heritage bears witness to centuries of champagne elaboration. This is the biggest cellar of the city with 18 miles of tunnels. After the visit, you will taste this exceptional champagne. During these visits, you will have the opportunity to buy some bottles as all the cellars have their own shops. You will leave Epernay and pay a visit to Hautvillers a charming village with its ancient abbey where is buried Dom Perignon before going back to Paris. (B.L)

Enjoy a breakfast at your hotel & full day at leisure to explore this wonderful city as you please. Overnight accommodation. (B)
Day 6: Paris
Today sadly marks the end of this fine vacation. Following breakfast at your hotel check out and, at the appropriate time, make your way to the airport for your return flight. Or ask about extending you France vacation with CIT Tours. (B)
