Day 1 Arrival
After arriving at Berlin airport or railway station, transfer independently to your selected hotel for check-in. The remainder of the day is yours to get acquainted with Berlin. German's capital is a bustling metropolis where contemporary & historical buildings blend together in a fascinating urban fabric, full of architectural & cultural treasures, and a thriving art, music & nightlife scene.
Day 2 Berlin
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and then spend the day exploring Berlin's main monuments and sights with a Berlin Hop-on/Hop-off City Circle tour. You can stay on the bus for a full circle for an orientation tour of Berlin or hop-on & off at 16 different landmarks all around the city at your leisure, including Alexander Square, Checkpoint Charlie, Berlin Cathedral, the famous Brandenburger Gate, Reichstag, Bellevue Castle, Charlottenburg Palace and the Kurfurstendamm, Berlin's liveliest avenue with numerous shops, restaurants, hotels and the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church. Hop off the bus at bus-stop nbr 5 at Potsdamer Platz and combine the tour with a visit to the Kollhoff Tower, a 23 story, 103 meter high-rise building where you can take the 20 second ride to the viewing platform and admire stunning panoramic views of Berlin. Day 3 Potsdam & Sanssouci
Following breakfast depart on a half-day guided tour to Potsdam & Sanssouci Palace. A UNESCO World heritage site, Potsdam is a city steeped in history and famous for its cultural, artistic & architectural treasures, picturesque old town and marvellous palaces. Visit the old centre with the historic Town hall, the Russian Colony “Alexandrowka” and the “Holländisches Viertel” (Dutch Quarter), among many other sites. Then enjoy a walk through the marvellous gardens of Sanssouci and see the famous sites like Sanssouci Palace*, New Palace, Palace New Chambers, Historic Windmill, Charlottenhof Palace, the Roman Baths and the Orangery Palace. Enjoy free time of approx 2 hours to visit one of the Palaces in Sanssouci gardens on your own, or relax at one of the many local restaurants, before the return drive to Berlin on board a comfortable coach equipped with audio-guides in multiple languages. The rest of the afternoon & evening are yours to spend as you please. Overnight accommodation. (B)

Day 4 Depart Berlin
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before making your way to the airport or railway station for your onward journey. Or ask your Travel Agent about extending your Berlin stay with CIT Tours. (B)
