Day 1: Arrive Nice
After arriving in Nice make your way to the selected hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is yours to spend as you please. Relax at your hotel or stroll trough the old town and along the promenade. Overnight accommodation.
Day 2: Nice & Monte Carlo
Breakfast at your hotel. A guided city tour will introduce you to Nice's main highlights. Visit the Castel Park overlooking the bay, site of the trading town founded by the Greeks 600 years BC. Drive along the port from where Catherine Segurane repulsed the Turks. Admire the Genoese buildings. Contemplate the "old Nice' in Place Garibaldi and the "new' along promenade des Arts. Arrive in Cimiez, winter home of Queen Victoria where you will stop at the Roman Arena. The visit the Cathedral and return via elegant Promenade des Anglais passing its many famous landmarks. Finish the tour with a visit of the flower market in Cours Saleya. (Note: admissions not included). Remainder of the day at leisure. In the evening enjoy a tour of Monte Carlo by night. Driving along the coastal road with its medieval villages, marinas & panoramic viewpoints towards Monaco. Enjoy a tour of this medieval town and stroll around the Palace area. Then a tour of Monte-Carlo, including the Grand Prix circuit, followed by free time to dine and enjoy the atmosphere at Casino Square. Please note: admission to Grand Casino not included; day wear & passport are required, min age 18 years. Other Casino, Cafe de Paris & Grand hotel free entrance). Return via the Corniche road to Nice for overnight accommodation. (B)
Day 3: Cannes, Juan-Le-Pin & Antibes
This morning depart on a guided tour to Cannes, city of Festivals, fireworks & film stars. Stop at the Film Festival Palace and see the stars' hand prints, admire the fancy boutiques, sandy beaches and enjoy the famous Croisette Boulevard and the 'chic' of Cannes. Continue by the coast line to Golfe-Juan where Napoleon landed in 1815, Juan-Les-Pins, passing by the famous seafront and Pine Grove with trendy boutiques. Admire the sea view from la Garoupe, pass the celebrity villas of Cap d'Antibes and arrive by the ramparts in Antibes. Free time to discover the Old Town of Antibes and the Billionaire's Quay, overlooked by the 16th century Fort Vauban and home to dynastic yachts. Return to Nice and remainder of the day at leisure. Day 4: Depart Nice
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel and then make your way to the airport for your return journey. Ask your Travel Agent about tour extensions and other city breaks offered by CIT Tours. (B)
