Crossing Piazza della Repubblica with Najad's Fountain, your local guide will take you on a pleasant stroll through the historic centre, where you can admire the Trevi Fountain, the Colonna of Marco Aurelio, Palazzo Montecitorio designed by Bernini, the Pantheon, Palazzo Madama (seat of the Senate) and Piazza Navona. Passing alongside Castel S. Angelo, your tour will take you to St. Peter' Square where there will be an explanation of the Basilica from outside. You can then visit this impressive Renaissance church, Italy's most spectacular basilica & the centre of Christian faith, on your own.
