Day 1: Arrival - Sao Miguel

Arrive at the airport and meet your driver who will take you to your hotel in Ponta Delgada.

Day 2: Sao Miguel | Sete Cidades Lake | Sao Miguel

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before departing on a half-day tour to the Sete Cidades Lakes via the scenic mountain road, offering beautiful views of the island’s flatlands. Visit the iconic Vista do Rei viewpoint and the village of Sete Cidades. On the return to Ponta Delgada, stop at the local pineapple plantations. Afternoon at leisure. (B)

Day 3: Sao Miguel | Furnas | Sao Miguel

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before departing Ponta Delgada for a full-day tour of Furnas via the scenic south coast. Stop in Vila Franca do Campo and continue to the Furnas Valley, passing by the lake. Visit the botanical garden, with free time for a relaxing swim in the natural thermal pools, followed by a visit to the hot springs. Enjoy a traditional “cozido” lunch cooked underground by volcanic steam. Return to Ponta Delgada along the north coast, stopping at a tea plantation and the Santa Iria viewpoint. (B,L)

Day 4: Sao Miguel | Faial

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before your transfer to the airport for your flight to Faial Island. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy a free day to relax or explore at your leisure. (B)

Day 5: Faial | Pico | Faial

Breakfast at the hotel.  Explore Pico Island on a full-day tour starting from Madalena. Travel along the north coast to the lava-formed villages of Cachorro and Lajido, then visit the historic Whale Factory and natural pools in São Roque. Continue up the mountain road to the scenic Capitão Lake at 900m. In Lajes, discover the island’s whaling heritage at the Whalers’ Museum before enjoying lunch. Journey along the south coast with a stop at Mistérios de São João and visit the church of São Mateus. Conclude with the UNESCO-listed vineyards of Criação Velha before returning to Madalena for your ferry back to Faial. (B,L)

Day 6: Faial - Full Day Tour

After breakfast, discover the highlights of Faial on a full-day tour departing from Horta. Begin with a visit to the stunning Caldeira Natural Reserve, often framed by vibrant blue hydrangeas. Continue to the Ribeira das Cabras viewpoint along Serra da Feteira before stopping for lunch. Descend to the Fajã of Praia do Norte and explore the Capelinhos Volcano Interpretation Centre, where the dramatic 1957–58 eruption reshaped the island. On the return to Horta, pause in Varadouro to admire Morro de Castelo Branco, and end the day at Monte da Guia with panoramic views over the city and the Bay of Porto Pim. (B,L)

Day 7: Faial | Sao Miguel

After breakfast, enjoy a smooth transfer to the airport for your short flight to São Miguel. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure, exploring the island at your own pace. (B)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before transferring to the airport for your departure. (B)
