Spend a few days in Dresden, discovering this beautiful city rich in art treasures, history & legend, located on the Elbe River with a stunning skyline of spires, towers & palace domes. And enjoy a vintage steamboat tour to the Pillnitz Palace and its Baroque Gardens.

Day 1: Dresden

Arriving in Dresden, make your way to your centrally located hotel. Settle in and take some time to relax before this evening when you board a regular night hop-on-hop-off city tour to enjoy the beauty of the illuminated city.

Day 2: Dresden

A day full of culture and art waits for you. With your 2-day “Dresden City Card & Dresden Museums Card” you can travel on all public transport within the zone of Dresden and enjoy free admission to 14 exhibitions in the city, including the famous Neues Grünes Gewölbe Museum and the Gemälde Alte Meister Art Gallery. Your card also includes discounts for tourist & cultural attractions such as a concert at the Church of our Lady (Frauenkirche). (B)

Day 3: Pillnitz Palace

This morning board a vintage steamboat across the Elbe river to the Pillnitz Palace. The former summer residence of Saxon Kings, Pillnitz Palace was built with a focus on the chinoiserie style “Chinesco” differentiating it from all other German palaces. Enjoy some free time in its gigantic gardens before travelling back by boat to Dresden. Your afternoon is free to spend as you choose. (B)

Day 4: Dresden

After breakfast and at a time to suit your departing train or flight, make your way to the airport or railway station to continue your journey. An optional private transfer is available on request. (B)
